For the Medieval play I'm costuming for, I'm making a dress inspired by this one:

It'll be dark blue, with a trim I have already.

Turmeric progress

This is the bodice front.... it's a bit droopy where the darts end, but I'll fix that.

I put the sleeves in awhile ago too. I also lined it. Skirt in progress.

Jump! dress progress pic

I pinned all of my Jump dress that I've got so far... and this is it.

I'm planning on buying the skirt satin soon, BTW, to go UNDER the pointe de esprit!

I just finished my bead-circles for my Jump dress.... thinking of filling in the gaps between each bead with more beads, to make the circles pop out... not sure.

I also bought the pointe de esprit! I love pointe de esprit. It was 50% off, too, with a coupon!

this dress from the Titanic (which I haven't seen, BTW). Gorgeous.

one of these days I'll make a simpler, knee length version. But in the mean time, I'll just drool. (And finish my other projects!)

Marie dress... finished!

I finished this forever ago... but didn't get decent pictures until just recently. (Spent a night and a day in curlers, and then another hour styling my hair, and moving the mirror, desk, etc downstairs. Yup.)

I love the beading on this dress. In fact, I've decided I LOVE beading!!!! The Jump dress is so fun to be making at the moment. :)

Turmeric

So, having 50% off coupons and loving this dress from Mod Cloth (but not so much the emphasis put on the chest area, and the SHORT hem) I decided on these fabrics.

I bought this pattern for 99 cents (WOW!!! Awesome sale!!!)

I'm making A, with the thicker straps. I'm also making it LONGER... an extra 5 inches.
